Meet the Artist

Hello. I am a mother, a wife divorced,  lover, painter, glass artist and business woman. I work directly from the experiences life as woman artist, dealing with the emotions common to us as women: individually and collectively.

My process opens with music, allowing the work to directly unfold from my soul. Tapping emotions and sexuality, mythology, dreams and poetry. It is spirited with experimentation of color, composition and physical form. The work is honest and can be decorative.

Process is a friend. It is a special kind of knowing. An exploration. A quest. Trust is the most important aspect in the process of creating my work. 

I always begin with the need to express an idea or feeling. I reach into myself drawing on both my skills tools of experience as an artist and my intuition as a woman. I open my senes and it is then, that my work begins. 

Creation is the expression of experience. My work exists entirely in the moment; it inhabits only that fragile fragment of time where it captures all the drama of a second. It has its own very delicate reality.
